Muscians – Guitarists and Singers – Amplitube iPad app

Amplitube iPad 1

Amplitube for iPad – iPad Musicians Tools

Amplitube iRig is another tool for making music with the iPad and it can be used with the Garageband application. Also you have the Amplitube 2 for iPad application, which is a fully functioning guitar multi-effect processor and is also a recording and sound and music production studio for your iPad. Basically what you do is you turn your iPad into a mobile guitar, bass, keyboards and multi-effect processor for vocals. The Amplitube App gives you a complete recording studio on your iPad.

The Amazing iPad

To connect up your guitar you use the Amplitube iRig interface adapter and there is also the iRig microphone, or iRig Mic, so that you can process and record your vocals as well as acoustic instruments. You don’t have to be sitting in a recording studio to make music. So long as you have your guitar, the Amplitube adapter and your iPad with the Amplitube software on it, you can practice and record just about anywhere.

Using Amplitube iPad Effects

With the Amplitube 2 for iPad, it is like a traditional live set up and you have four daisy chained stompbox effects that run into an amplifier with a plethora of effects. You also have a cabinet and a microphone. There are 11 stomp box built in effects to choose from. There is delay, fuzz, overdrive wah, chorus, envelope filter, phaser, flanger, octave, noise filter and also distortion.

Amplitube ipad

You have five different amps to choose from, that have full controls, along with five different speaker cabinets and two microphones. One of the microphones is dynamic and the other one is condenser. The condenser microphones are more for the studio use as they are more sensitive. With the five amplifiers you get clean, crunch, lead, metal and bass.

Amplitube iPad and the paid for extras

It is also possible to expand the recording rig that you start with, by making some in app purchases ,with affects like the compressor, reverb, parametric EQ, graphic EQ and the limiter. Personally I think that those FX should have been included already in the basic package as standard. So when you are looking at the price of this setup you should see how much the in app purchases are going to cost you, so that you know how much the total is going to be. There are other amps and effects that you can add from the Amplitube Fender and vocal effects from the Vocalive apps . When you have all of this installed there would be hardly anything, that you couldn’t do with Amplitube for iPad.

Amplitube 3 – Organising your favourite presets

Having all these wild and wonderful amps, effects and so on is great, but you do need to have some way to be able to manage them. Within Amplitube for iPad there is a folder panel system that allows you to store, find and recall your library of sounds. You can actually make some dedicated buttons with favourites and there are 10 available banks to store your 40 most often used to presets. So when working on a song, it can be quite manageable to change from one preset through to another.

A large part of the functionality of the Amplitube for iPad application is the ability to grab your musical ideas, and record your performances quickly and easily. Amplitube iPad has a built-in recorder and from this you can export out high-quality sound files. Within the recorder you can also apply different sets of effects and be able to change the tone and the sound of the original track. You can make all sorts of tweaks to perfect your soundtrack in recorder. Once again to be able to get the full benefits of the application you have to add, in app purchases, this time you have to pay extra to turn the single track recorder into a multitrack recorder. I suppose the benefit of this is that you can get the bare application to test out the basics and then expand it as necessary.

Amplitube for iPad – Single Track or Multi Track

When you have the eight track recorder and the master effects section, you are able to work on each individual track with the volume control, pan control, solo and muted switches, as well as controls for adding ambience and depth. It is also possible to import audio into each track and there is a feature which allows you to bounce tracks into one track, which frees up extra tracks for you to be able to use.

Amplitube 3 for iPad looks as though it is an extremely capable musicians tool that will be continuously expandable, so long as you’re prepared to pay for extras. It looks easy to set up and work with the Amplitube iRig, which you use to connect up your guitar. Then you also have the iRig microphone for adding your vocals. A one stop shop for guitarists and singers. Don’t forget there is the ioDock from Alesis that is an excellent tool for connecting microphones to the iPad.

Stylus Decisions – iPad Stylus Reviews For More Information

Using iPad Stylus Reviews To Decide Upon Which Stylus To Buy

After reading a few of the iPad stylus reviews, it was time to go out and buy one for myself. There are a variety of iPad stylus available and some of them are quite informative about how you might use an iPad stylus. You may also find it useful to have a look at the iPad stylus reviews, that are more concerned with how you might make your own iPad stylus.

The Amazing iPad

iPad Stylus Reviews Confound Of The Designers

41BDHtZtDML AA300

To use a stylus with the Amazing iPad, it’s not really what Steve jobs had in mind when the iPad was designed. In fact the stylus that Steve Jobs had in mind for us to use, was the finger. The good thing about using the finger of course, is that you don’t have to worry about carrying around another device or tool to be able the use your Apple tablet.

Despite what the designers of the Apple iPad thought, you will find in the iPad stylus reviews that there are some instances where a stylus is a great idea. One such case would be if you are an artist and using applications such as Art Studio to create some digital painting and drawing art. I can confirm that this is the case because I do have Art Studio, and it is much easier to use with a stylus.

When your using the pencil tool or the brush tools in ArtStudio with a stylus, you will soon see that you have much better control over the drawing. You won’t need the iPad stylus reviews to tell you that you will be able to do better digital art by using a stylus. It feels much more like you have a pen or a brush in your hand, and so, much more mimics the old way of doing things.

Handwriting Recognition In The iPad Stylus Reviews

As you’ll also find in the iPad stylus reviews, they have said that having a stylus is the best way to use one of the handwriting recognition applications, such as Phatpad. We are more used to be able to write using a pen, after having spent many years using the old analog device. It is therefore only natural that when we want to write something, having in our hand a tool that is something like a pen, is more comfortable and therefore more effective. In my iPad stylus reviews, for the Boxwave stylus and the Targus stylus, you will see what it is like to be able to use one of these tools. It is actually quite easy to use the handwriting recognition software Phatpad, although you do have to be quite careful in the way that you write your letters. My handwriting is fairly terrible, but Phatpad has been able to convert it into editable text.

The price of a stylus is not very high, even when you buy a quality one like the Boxwave iPad stylus or the Targus stylus, so it is not going to be too expensive to buy one to try out. You could get yourself a stylus and do your own iPad pen review. Lately I have been using the Targus stylus and I am very pleased with it in terms of build quality and usability. The body of the stylus is made of metal and the end of it, the bit you write with is a kind of soft rubber button. I was kind of worried that having a metal pen in close proximity to the iPad would lead to scratches on the glass. After using the Targus stylus for a while, I find that in use it is unlikely to scratch the iPad.

Not the Same As Using a Wacom Tablet

In the iPad stylus reviews you are likely also to be able to find out, which of the stylus designs will give you the best fine point to draw with, or to write with. To a certain extent you don’t need to worry about having a fine point on the actual stylus, as the software will determine the width of the line that you draw. Neither does it matter, how hard you press with the stylus, as it does not work in the same way as the Wacom drawing tablets, which have the pressure sensitive abilities.

iPad Microphone To Use For Recording Audio – Best iPad Mic

Making Audio Recordings With the iPad Microphone

The iPad does have sound facilities for recording. There is an iPad microphone and it is sensitive enough that you will be able to record within a meeting, or in a classroom. Because of the sensitivity of the microphone, I’d suggest that you would want to have a fairly quiet room, with just one or two persons speaking. If you have a larger number of people speaking at the same time, then you will not be so likely to get a very good recording. Although the internal iPad Mic is quite good for general use, there are other options for external microphones.

The Amazing iPad

I have seen in a number of online stores, there are external microphones that are very inexpensive to buy and don’t have any cables, they just simply plug-in to the microphone jack on the iPad. Even though they are cheap microphones, they are very sensitive and will actually perform better, than the internal microphone that is included with the iPad. Whatever type of computer you are using, this is always the case that an external microphone will allow you to make better sound recordings.

iPad microphone and The iPad as a Skype Phone

These small thumb tack type of microphones can also include a speaker, and with this you can have the iPad work as a Skype phone. These microphones will also work with the iPod touch. The price of these tiny microphones generally work out at between $5 and $10, so you could buy a couple of different models and try them out. To use as a Skype phone you will also need to be connected to the Internet, either by Wi-Fi or 3G.

iPad Microphone iRig

The next step up from the expensive microphones would be the iRig microphone. This is a microphone that is designed especially for the iPad, it has a cable that connects into a special connector that fits into the iPad. The connector gives you a place to plug-in some headphones or speakers, so that you are able to listen back to your recordings. The microphone itself is a hand-held microphone, on the end of a cable, it looks quite professional and is similar to the Shure SM 58 in looks. The iRig iPad microphone also comes with extra software and the makers recommend that the microphone can be used for creation of music and also for voice type recordings, such as a podcast.

There are a number of voice recording applications, music recording applications and digital audio applications for iPad. One particular audio recording software of note, for the iPad would be Garageband. I have only just bought Garageband for the iPad, so I will have to have a play with it first before I can give you a review of it here on the website. I am very much looking forward to having a play with Garageband and using a microphone iPad.

iPhone Headset Used As An iPad Microphone

When I am speaking into the iPad, using the DragonDictate software, I quite often use the headset from my iPhone, which has a microphone for iPad included. For the purpose of dictation the microphone on the headset is good enough for the job. If I were to use that microphone for other uses, such as for recording voice overs, then I would be disappointed, when compared to using my Behringer B2 studio microphone.

When using the iPad Mic for taking audio notes, you will find that there are a large number of note taking applications that you will be able to record your voice. iPad audio note taking is popular with students and can also be used in business meetings. It can be especially handy, when you are using a note taking application that synchronises the typed or handwritten notes along with the audio recorded with your iPad microphone. What is the best mic for iPad?

iPad Backup Software – Backup Tools Keeping Your Data Safe

Backup tools – iPad Backup Software

With the fact that it is built-in for us by Apple, the ability to backup the iPad without any backup tools, other than using iTunes, why would we need to go looking for iPad backup software? There are one or two backup tools for the iPad available in the Internet’s, but after looking at the webpages for the software, I wouldn’t put much faith in them.

Whilst doing a search for backup iPad apps and iPad backup software, most of the links lead to software for copying files to iPad, all from the iPad to the computer. I suppose if you feel the need to have a backup, of some of the individual files, rather than a backup of the whole iPad, then one of these applications might suit you.
The Amazing iPad

Copy files to iPad or iPad Backup Software

Backup tools
I found one app called Emicsoft iPad to Computer Transfer, and after looking at the webpage, was not terribly impressed. They did have iPad backup software for using both with Windows and also with Macs. It didn’t look like software, that I would like to install on my computer. I found another one called iPad to Mac Transfer and again this was more concerned with how to copy files to iPad, or moving your files to and from the iPad.

iPad Backup Location

One piece of information that I did find that could be useful, is the iPad backup location, for Mac and also for Windows. On the Mac the iPad backup location is in/library/application support/mobilesync/backup/. On Windows there are different places to look depending on which version you are running. For Windows XP users you would look in \documents and settings\(your username)\application data\Apple Computer\Mobilesync\backup. Then if you are using Windows Vista you would look in\users\(your username)\app data\roaming\Apple Computer\Mobilesync\backup.

IPad backip softwareI did see another iPad Backup software and again I was not reassured by the web page and didn’t fancy giving it a try when I have iTunes doing the business for me anyway. iPad Backup & Converter Suite for Windows and iPad Backup & Converter Suite for Mac.

Phone view for full iPhone and iPod access, by Ecamm

The software by Ecamm network called phone view, on the other hand, I have seen in operation, does actually work well on the Mac. With this iPhone and iPad software, you can connect via a USB cable to see your file storage, voicemail, text messages, app data, basically whatever you have on your iPad. This software could be one of your backup tools for your iPad, allowing you to backup data on a per file basis. I would not recommend though to use this instead of the full backups that you would create by using iTunes while synchronising your iPad. This software is not free it costs $19.95 and certainly could be useful for connecting to your iPad from your Mac.

Best iPad Backup Software

It is fairly safe to say, that the best of the backup tools, backup iPad apps or iPad backup software, is the backup that we get through using iTunes. You can move or copy files to and from the iPad through applications such as Good Reader or Dropbox and of course through iTunes itself. Best to keep it simple and use iTunes to do your iPad backup.

Backup Tools To Keep it Simple

Even with the best technology, sometimes things don’t go quite right, but if you keep it simple and use the iPad backup strategy there and you are less likely to see that message – iPad backup session failed. Use the 3-2-1 iPad backup strategy, using iTunes, Time Machine, SuperDuper and an off-site cloud backup service and if things do not go quite right, you will be able to do an iPad backup restore. It is not at all difficult to restore iPad from Backup.

An Extra Display For Your Mac Using the iPad as Second Monitor

Using the iPad as second monitor

If you are like me, then it is quite likely that you like to spread your applications on as much screen display space as possible. Even when you have a 27 inch iMac, or maybe even if you have the new Apple Thunderbolt Cinema display, the latest new large monitor from Apple, you still don’t have enough space, and would like more. Or maybe you only have a 13 inch MacBook Pro and you feel the need to spread out a little bit, and have more screen space to perhaps see what is happening on Twitter, Facebook or be able to see who is available on Skype. Did you know that you can use the iPad as a second monitor?

The Amazing iPad

If you have a 27 inch iMac with the two Thunderbolt ports, you can actually have a monitor on either side of your main computer screen. Wouldn’t that be nice! If you have a MacBook Pro then there would be one external video port that you could use, to at least connect one extra screen. But how about this for a different idea, in case you are unable to take advantage of the normal solutions available. Why not use the iPad as second monitor, I know the iPad only has a small screen compared to an inexpensive display monitor, that you can buy from the local computer store. Sometimes though you have just go with what you have available, and in this case you have your laptop or Mac desktop computer available, and your iPad.

Getting set up to use iPad as second monitor

Using iPad as second monitor

The first thing you need to do is to go to iTunes and do a search for iDisplay. iDisplay costs $4.99 and is one part of the setup, that you will need to be able to get using iPad as second display up and running. iDisplay is the client side software, which has to be installed on the iPad. Next, you will need to go to shapeservices.com and download the universal app, which is optimised to work with the client app you have already installed on your iPad.

Installation of the universal app on your desktop or laptop is a double-click on an install application. It doesn’t even take much setting up, it just appears in your menu bar, and you are done. After installation you will need to do a restart of your computer. The next thing to do, is to go to your iPad and start the iDisplay application, click on always allow in the pop up dialog, so that the next time you wish to use iDisplay it will automatically connect up.

iPad As Second Monitor – Up and Running

IDisplay for iPad

After you have got the application running, it will be a good idea for you to go to system preferences on your computer and set up the display options. You will see where the iPad display is in relation to the main screen, and you can move the display, to have it wherever it is correct in relation to the main computer. You will find that if you put the display below the main screen, you’ll see that your dock will be displayed in the iPad screen. I wouldn’t find that a terribly satisfactory, preferring to have the extra display on either the right or the left of the main screen. If you have the iPad physically to the left of the main screen, then it will be better to also have it to the left, in the arrangement of the monitors within the setup. If you decide to have the iPad physically to the left, but over on the right in the display set up, you will be continually confusing yourself.

When you use iPad as second monitor, you will find that it works pretty well and you can see any applications that you place on it, no trouble at all. It is not really recommended that you try playing a video on the iPad, on the second screen, as there would be some lag due to the fact that you’re using Wi-Fi to send the image to the iPad screen. What would be more suitable would be if you had a Twitter client, or maybe a web page that you were using as a reference, while you were working writing an article.

Best to Turn off the Bluetooth for Best Results

One thing, that you have to be aware of is the fact that because the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth radios use the same antenna, it is a good idea to make Bluetooth inactive while you’re using iDisplay. If you forget to turn off Bluetooth, then you may find that the Wi-Fi performance is impaired sufficiently to make the display not work as well as you need it to.

In the later versions of iDisplay, they have made it possible to launch applications right from the amazing iPad iOS device, and also be able to move windows to the iDisplay screen.

Increase your Productivity Using an iPad.

It seems to me, that iDisplay would allow you to increase your productivity, due to the fact that you can maximise the viewable area on your main display. Especially for those of us, that are multitasking users, wishing to move some applications to the external display, and keep the main display for work related applications. iDisplay is a good option if you would like the ability to use iPad as second monitor, why not give it a try.

Using a Behringer B2 Microphone – Podcaster Microphone

Behringer B 2 PRO Dual Diaphragm Studio Condenser Microphone

When you become serious about your podcasting and it’s quite likely that you want to get a really good quality microphone such as the Behringer B-2 Pro, instead of using a cheap microphone. The Behringer B2 Pro is a dual diaphragm high-performance condenser microphone for the studio. If you are a singer or other type of vocalist you’ll find it very good, and you will also find it to be excellent microphone if you want to do some podcasting.

The Amazing iPad

The microphone is very sensitive so you need to have a space where there is no noise, to record your podcasts with the Behringer microphone. This podcaster microphone is a XLR type of microphone which means that you need a XLR connector cable for it to be connected to a mixer. Then you connect from the mixer to your computer. There are Behringer mixers available and you can get them with a number of different audio inputs.

Check out the different type of connections for the mixer, you can get some good ones that work with a FireWire connection or a USB connection. In time there may be mixers that will connect via Thunderbolt. If you are connecting with a lead in to the line in then you’ll probably not be able to separate the audio into separate tracks in a multitrack audio editing software. Firewire or USB is better for that.

There is a technique for using a microphone like this. Don’t speak directly into it even if you are using the pop filter. The best thing to do is to have your mouth close to the microphone, but not directly speaking into the microphone. This way you will avoid the pop sounds that will make the recording sound bad. When you use a microphone properly you will get a good vibrant sound when you’re speaking in your podcast.

The audio editing software that I like to use for making a podcast on my Mac is Amadeus pro. You could also use a microphone like this with Garageband, which is not only for creating podcasts but maybe you are a singer and you would like to create some music tracks. It could would out OK connecting the iPad to the mixer with a cable into the audio in socket, in the same way as the iRig microphone connects.

The Behringer B-2 PRO Dual-Diaphragm Studio Condenser Microphone
is better for studio work. If you are out and about and at someplace where it is noisy, you may find it better to use a dynamic microphone such as the Shure SM58. There are other microphones available that can connect easier, through the USB port and the microphone manufacturer called Blue have some good podcaster microphones such as the Yeti or the Snowball. Good Luck choosing a microphone for podcasting.

What is the best iPad case – Skin – Folder – Hard Case for iPad?

To start with you have to decide which route you are going down for the best iPad case or best iPad 2 case. There are basic choices to make to start with and that will then lead you to look at a whole mountain of possibilities in each grouping. The third party manufacturers are really jumping into the production of iPad cases.

  1. A skin type case
  2. A soft case like the Apple iPad case
  3. A hard case made of various materials
  4. A specialist type case that has a keyboard to turn it into a netbook computer – Almost.

Some of the best iPad 2 cases or skins will require a screen protector on the front of the screen and with some you could get away without if you are a careful user as I am. Some of the hard cases it is recommended by the makers of the case that you use a screen protector because of the way it connects up or folds together.

The Amazing iPad

iPad Skin type case

IPad Darth Vader Star Wars Vinyl Skin kit for all ipads 3G 16gb 32gb 64gb wifi apple iPads decal cover Skins case High Gloss Finish Everything Else

These cases are soft and are easy to pull over the edges of the iPad for them to be able to stay in place. There are loads of designs you can find and are relatively inexpensive. There are made from either a vinyl or silicone material and because of the low price you could even have a few different ones to use. So for example when you are going to a high powered meeting you can leave the iPad Darth Vader Star Wars Vinyl Skin behind and put one on that is better suited to the occasion. Good job that are quick and easy to change from one skin to another too. You could put on this one Apple iPad 2 silicone skin – black, with touchscreen stylus which despite only being $7.95 to buy also comes with the stylus and is one of the best cases for iPad.

Which ever case you get remember to get the right one for your version of the iPad. I think you will need there to be the holes necessary for the cameras, for a start and also because of the different shape too. A good thing to look out for when researching the best iPad cases, including when you are looking for a hard iPad case. Remember too that there are differences between the iPad 1 cases and the cases for iPad 2.

A Folder Type Case For The iPad

Personally with my iPad I use the Apple case with it. I have seen some nice leather cases though that look very tasty indeed. You can get them in various colours so that you have some personalisation for your iPad. That is certainly a good idea if you are in a work place or where ever that there are a number of iPad users and you have to do something to stand out from the crowd.

There usually some way of the folder case to become a stand also. Good for getting a nice angle to type on when it is on the desk or for when you want it to stand upright so that you have the best case for iPad for you could watch a movie perhaps.

Hard Candy Cases Bubble Sleeve Case for Apple iPad 2 (also fits Apple iPad 1), Black is a case is more of a carrying case for iPad than the folder types. I think with this one the way you would use it is in bare format, possibly with a screen protector on the screen. When you get to where you plan to use the iPad you take out the iPad and put the case to one side. This one does have some good protective features that are good for when the iPad in in the case and being moved from place to place.
Are You A Hard Case Sort Of Person?
One of the things with a hards case for the iPad is that it is probably going to be heavier that the other sorts of cases. The trade off for that though is that you get the best protection. It is usually easier for the manufacturers to make some sort of stand mechanism that will work well with the case.

EMPIRE Premium Rainbow Zebra Design Back Snap On Cover Hard Case for Apple iPad

Hard Case For iPad – Lots of choice

The hard cases for the iPad range from the cases that just snap on to the iPad and really are just one extra layer, to the cases that have a front section that snap to a rear section and also have a silicone layer in between to provide shock absorption. Which ever the type of the design you prefer you will get plain ones and also patterned cases that will reflect your personality. How about the EMPIRE Premium Rainbow Zebra Design Back Snap-On Cover Hard Case for Apple iPad That hard case for iPad is going to look very snazzy on your iPad.

Then we have the best cases for iPad  that have the keyboard with them. It could be a soft case or it could be a hard case like the ZAGGMate. Then you could have the attempt to almost convert the iPad into a sort of netbook, like the case from Writer.

A lot of the decision will come down to which sort of case that suits the way that you use your iPad. Buying the best iPad case is very much a personal preference that is not just about the look of it. Which iPad carrying case did you choose? The Amazing iPad

The BoxWave Capacitive iPad Stylus

Boxwave iPad Stylus Review

Whatever Steve has against the use of a stylus with the iPad and the fact that having one is fraught with the possibility of losing it pretty quickly, there are times when a BoxWave Capacitive iPad Stylus will be just the thing you need to get the best out of a particular application. Mainly I would be talking about the drawing applications when having a pointy stylus is most certainly going to give better results than using the finger.

Some artists may relish the thought of using ArtStudio or one of the other drawing and painting applications to create the art work with the fingers. The notion of going back to the childhood innocence of drawing with the fingers. It kind of depends on the sort of art you like to create. Some drawings will need something more accurate and that will be the Boxwave capacitive iPad stylus. I have heard that it is more durable that the pogo sketch styli.

You can get the BoxWave Capacitive iPad Stylus in Jet Black, Metallic Silver, Crimson Red, or Lunar Blue colours and it is pen like in style, so it is easy to hold and work with. Another reason why a boxwave capacitive iPad stylus is such a good idea is when the day is one of those freezing cold day and taking off the gloves is not going to be a great idea. Then of course let’s not forget the ladies who like to have long finger nails, using a stylus will work better there also.

Possibly the Boxwave capacitive iPad stylus could do with a cover for the tip so that the foam will survive being in a carrier of some sort. It does come with a bit of string on the end of the pen shaped device and you can use that to attach it to the iPad so that you don’t lose it. I would recommend that myself as it will be swinging all over the place and probably will lead to scratches of your screen. Much better to keep the Boxwave Apple iPad capacitive stylus in a case. In some iPad cases there are places that are designed to hold a Boxwave Stylus or a stylus from another manufacturer.

Whatever the size of your hands you should find no problem with using the BoxWave Capacitive iPad Stylus as it is a good size to suit a vide variety of people. It will work well when you have a protective covering on your iPad to save your screen from scratches. You can use with applications like Penultimate and Noterize for note taking as well as with apps like PS Express and Idea Sketch. The price is OK and well worth a look – Box Wave or the Targus stylus is worth a look, then go and do some drawing.

So is this the best stylus for iPad? Are you going to be an iPad 2 stylus user? Looks like there will be some users of the iPad that will be hunting for stylus pens do to that stylus iPad thing.

The case is made from high grade aluminium same as used by the military so that must mean that it is very tough and it has a bead blasted finish that matches the finish on the iPad. So it looks sexy as well as protecting your amazing iPad to the level you would expect.

iPad2 Zaggmate Cover with Keyboard

I quite like to type on the onscreen keyboard of the iPad, it is especially good for people that want to type and not have any keyboard clicking noise. But you can certainly type faster if you have an external iPad keyboard. The iPad ZAGGmate cover comes with a bluetooth keyboard although if you want you can buy the case without for $49. It is a good choice for the amazing iPad because it really looks very sturdy indeed. An excellent choice of the designer ipad cases, that have become available.

There is a hinge which can be arranged to give up to ten different angles for viewing and typing and it works both in portrait mode and also landscape mode. The base of the designer iPad case, Zaggmate for the iPad2 and the original iPad is large and flat so that it works well on your lap or other soft surfaces such as when you are using it in bed. Using the iPad for business will be better when using this iPad ZAGGmate.

Custom iPad Cases

ZAGGmate iPad Case w/keyboard comes with a Micro USB cable for charging the keyboard. The battery has a 501 mAh rechargeable lithium polymer battery, which only needs charging infrequently. It will last several weeks before you have to plug it in. The Logitech Keyboard Case by ZAGG is specific to the Apple iPad 2. So when you are making a purchase make sure you get the right designer ipad 2 covers for your iPad.

It is easy to pair up the ZAGGmate iPad Case with the keyboard and you only have to do it one time. It will only pair to one amazing iPad at a time, so that you don’t have the keyboard controlling more than one iPad at the same time.

Extra row of keys on the keyboard of the Zaggmate

There are extra function keys on the keyboard so that you can easily perform some of the basic functions. There is a home button, important, a search, slide show, a toggle for the iPad Keyboard in case it shows and you need to get it out of the way quickly. There are also keys to be able to control the music volume and the mute button.

The iPad ZAGGmate cover is one of my recommendations for looking after your iPad because of the extra utility you get with the wireless bluetooth keyboard you can get to go with it. All in one package an iPad cover, a stand and a bluetooth keyboard, brilliant or what? Most definitely one of the cool designer iPad cases.
